Octogen Pharmacal Company Inc. supplies Octogen, a topical cream that provides fast and effective relief. It was first introduced in 1932 through the dedication of Dr. Austin W. Bender of Buffalo, New York.
In 1921, Dr. Bender worked closely with patients suffering from arthritis and athletic injuries. His patients expressed a need fo a pain-relieving emollient superior to any product available on the market. After a decade of development, Dr. Bender perfected his formula for pain relief. For the next 20 years, the resulting product, Octogen ointment, was available only by prescription. The FDA later authorized the use of over-the-counter sales.
Nationwide Distribution
Octogen has been soothing muscle aches and joint pains for nearly a century. We distribute Octogen ointment and Octogen-2 cream to customers nationwide. Medical supply companies order from us, as do athletic trainers and professional sports teams. Many college and university teams, as well as, the general public are very familiar with our Octogen and Octogen-2 products.
